This Privacy Policy explains how Textro collects, uses, stores and protects personal data from users who access the site, create an account, use the text generator, contact us or subscribe to paid plans.

We process personal data according to the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other applicable rules. Legal bases may include contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interest, fraud prevention, service security and consent when applicable.

We may collect account and authentication data such as name, email, hashed password, phone number, country, role, selected language, plan, account timestamps, email confirmation records and data needed for login and password recovery.

We also collect usage data such as generation counts, daily limits, anonymous visitor identifiers, IP and user-agent hashes for anti-abuse controls, interface preferences and technical data required to keep the service operating.

Messages sent to the generator may be processed by AI providers to deliver the requested feature. Users should avoid entering sensitive data, trade secrets, credentials, API keys, health data, financial data or third-party information without authorization.

On Pro and Master plans, we may store generation history linked to the account, including original message, context, tone, language, generated response and date, so the user can search and filter it on the history page.

Payments, subscriptions, cards, invoices, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations are processed by Stripe. Textro does not store full card details. We may store Stripe technical identifiers, subscription status, plan, billing period and webhook events needed for reconciliation and support.

Transactional emails, such as account confirmation, password reset and contact messages, may be sent by SMTP. These emails use the data needed to deliver the communication, register requests and reply to the user when applicable.

We may use cookies, localStorage and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to keep language and theme preferences, measure traffic, understand aggregated site usage and improve performance, security and experience. You can control cookies in your browser, but some features may be affected.

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain financial records and handle support requests. When possible, data may be anonymized, aggregated or removed.
